Lalique Nancy Dish

A heavy Lalique Nancy Cendrier made of a thick crystal, in a wonderful wave pattern. The depth of the crystal, paired with the curves of the waves and the contrasting polished and frosted finishes appear almost like a whirlpool of the clearest water.  

René Lalique produced some of the most intricate and beautifully designed pieces of crystal art in his career. Although no longer with us, his designs and brand live on to this day still gracing us with its beauty.

Originally sold as a cendrier, or ashtray, it is quite large and although would work as an ashtray, it may be best as a decorative piece.

Weighing almost 2Kg (near 5 pounds for the Americans) it is quote heavy and not recommended for delicate shelves, surfaces or tabletops.
