What is Atelier Vespoint?
Atelier Vespoint is the workshop of Antonio Vespoint, specializing in vintage watches, unique jewelry, and eclectic objects.
Antonio’s fascination with jewels started at a young age - collecting, researching, and even digging for gemstones. Once the fascination had begun, there was nowhere he could go without spotting the nearest sapphire necklace or diamond earrings.
After college, he took a job at a pawn shop where his met his mentor, Ed Fasy, an old-guild goldsmith. Ed advised him to take some classes, so he went to study at Stewart's International School for Jewelers. With schooling and Ed’s guidance, Antonio began the process of creating his own unique designs and eventually came up with a select few he believed worthy. Those designs are finally being shown to the world and will soon be available.
Upon completing his apprenticeship, he excelled at a large jewelry store as a watch technician. This is where he began learning watch repair from their watchmaker. Finally able to fix some of the vintage watches in his collection, his appreciation for watch works paralleled his love of fine jewelry.
During this time, Antonio then took on a separate opportunity offered by Towson Watch Company, an independent high end watch brand from his home town. This opportunity enabled him to study under co-founder Hartwig Balke. Hartwig's teachings were more focused on manufacturing and production, rather than repair. With this experience, Antonio developed the skills needed to fill his current role as Lead Watchmaker at Towson Watch Company.
Through all of these experiences, Atelier Vespoint was formed. A business dedicated to providing unique watches, rare objects, and fine vintage jewelry to collectors, the fashion conscious, and new enthusiasts.
The Purpose
Jewelry is a unique experience, something physical, yet purely emotional.
Atelier Vespoint’s offerings and collections are meant to provoke those deep emotions.
We try to bring styles from bygone generations back into the hands of those who appreciate them.
Most pieces currently available are vintage watches, jewelry and objects. The Atelier will soon offer its own line of jewelry, both bespoke and in collections.
