NOS Mappin & Webb Notecase
Nowadays most people refer to their phone or tablet for just about everything. Timekeeping and note keeping were among two of the greatest necessities before the era of cellular phones.
This notecase, like many of Atelier Vespoint's offerings, aims to bring back certain aspects of life long ago in order to inspire everyone to break free from modernity and to slow down and enjoy life a bit.
The supple unused leather and two fully hallmarked 9 Karat gold fixtures on the bottom corners draw the eye and exude class. Mappin & Webb is a British jewelry house started in 1775, which has become one of the Royal Family's premiere jewelers.
Fitting business cards, most bank notes or checks and notepaper in its many different compartments it can keep your “notes” tidy and stylish. Today taking notes may be reserved to the phone, but you will always look good with a leather and gold notecase/wallet.
