Elgin Cigarette Case
A solid sterling silver cigarette case, made by the American manufacturer Elgin America. Knone for trinkets, flatware, tableware, jewelry, and smoking accessories, they also manufactured watch cases in the late 19th century through the early half of the 20th century.
The history surrounding the brand is surrounded by controversies over the name and their practices, having issues with the Elgin watch company also located in Elgin, Illinoise.
This piece has a push button to release the hinge, and the mechanism is working wonderfully. The interior can hold many modern smokes, but as always, please check the measurements below to ensure your objects can fit.
*Atelier Vespoint does not condone or promote the use of or smoking of tobacco or cigarettes. Cigarettes used for size reference only.*
