Sterling watches have always been a great way for brands to experiment with designs in a precious metal without requiring the pricing of solid gold or platinum.

The linear nature of the Clous de Paris pattern flows seamlessly between the dial, bezel, and bracelet. The finish on the buckle has changed over time. Bracelets like this require cutting and soldering (a lot of heat) rather than pins or screws like most watches. At just over 6 inches long it has been sized at least once.

The dial definitely has the best texturing, sitting like a mountain range beneath the linear polished hands. The  case and bracelet are both sterling silver, but the caseback is stainless steel. This was not uncommon.

It may be on the smaller side, but if you've got a thin wrist and a great sense of style this piece is waiting.

Serviced June 2023 and accompanied by a 1 year movement warrantee.
