A fantastic example of a non-chronograph Universal Geneve wristwatch with sub-dials. The sub-dials on this piece are for the sweep second at 9', and date function at 3'.

The little details on this watch are what make it special. Whether the pinned lugs, blue and red sub-dial hands, 6 and 12 o'clock date apertures, or the chameleon dial there are so many unique aspects to this watch.

The chameleon affect is most definite when moving between direct sun and shade, appearing spotted in shade or indirect light, and flat and uniform in direct light.

To operate the calendar functions, you can use you nail to carefully engage the solid Clous de Paris or "hobnail" correctors, located on the case at the 8' and 10' positions.

At 34.5mm with the crown, and having a lug to lug distance of 40mm it wears larger than it's written dimensions may appear. A beautiful 1940's dress watch ready for the modern era.

Serviced August 21' and coming with a one year movement warrantee, it is a wonderfully preserved vintage calendar watch.
