Cartier London Lipstick Lighter

A fantastic example of an early 1900's lipstick lighter, made by none other than Cartier.

In 9 Karat yellow gold, marked with British hallmarks and engraved Cartier London this piece was made for the British market. Bearing the JC hallmark inside the lid and base, it was made by Cartier London under the management of Jacques Cartier, one of the founding brothers in the Cartier Dynasty.

The outside of the lighter is decorated by thick ridges moving vertically up the compact piece. Inside the lighter mechanism is a simple petrol fuel wick lighter, with a flint. To refill just carefully pull the mechanism out and fill the cotton on the underside with your choice of petrol (Zippo) fuel. 

Working wonderfully and accompanied by a red Cartier signed pouch, its perfect for any smoker, lighter collector or Cartier fanatic.
